I wrote this tool to make my grooming works easier. It's helpfull to manage the hairsystems curve creation

- It adds curves between selected curves with linear or cubic degree interpolation.
It's possible to choose if the created curve should be snapped on scalp or cutted by the scalps surface.

- It adds curves at selected scalps points

- It removes the selected curves from hairsystem, deleting also follicles and current curves.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7146929960225069780.post-79898797639881102612010-08-22T06:27:00.000-07:002011-12-18T09:31:27.002-08:00Maya Hair - SpiderWeb

Hi there,
this video explains how works my last python script.
Starting by a vertex and edges selection, the script create a full dynamic spider web using two hairSystem.
It's possible to skin the main loft so to achieve more animation control and apply maya hair paintEffects so to render the web as you want.
Hello there.

This is a fan art tribute to one my favourite manga character.
I've chose this subject to study and improve my skill on fur systems.
For this character i've used 5 maya furDescriptios; 3 of them combed using hairSystems and furAttractors.
Modelled in Maya. Texturing and sculpting done with Photoshop and Zbrush. Environment done with Vue d'esprit.

Here you can see pose reference and modeling reference
Hi all.

I choose this subject for the grotesque and disquieting appearance of this particular kathakali character. This subject interest me also for the complex preparation for this traditional indian dance/recital.
All modelled with Maya. Textured and retouched in Photoshop. Detailed in Zbrush and rendered with 3delight.

This video explains how my FeatherSystem works.
As you can see it's possible to convert the mayaHairSystem into a FeatherSystem.
It's possible to tweak the single feather shape through attributes.
The feathers can be controlled progressively to comb and to set wing's rest position.

I hope you like it;
Comments and critics are welcome.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7146929960225069780.post-78337357300819837852010-03-21T10:23:00.000-07:002011-12-18T09:37:34.832-08:00Maya Hair -
